Exite IT and BlockX: further strength through unity!

ENSCHEDE, 1 April 2020 - Exite IT from Enschede and BlockX from Hengelo have joined forces, as confirmed by a strategic partnership. Exite and BlockX will work together to deliver the best possible digital version of organisations that are capable of impacting on the world of tomorrow.

Disruption within the IT sector offers opportunities

The IT sector is in a state of real flux. That calls for choices to be made for long-term prospects in relation to the futureproofness of organisations. In a market where large-scale disruptions are practically commonplace, doing more of the same is clearly not the obvious choice. Technology partners like Microsoft and distributors are moving up the value chain and are currently in fact offering complete IT platforms, an activity until now undertaken by many IT partners, themselves. Exite and BlockX share the vision that the true added value of IT service providers lies in offering expert advice and generating the maximum yield from IT solutions, through the smart implementation of those solutions within organisations. What is important for both Exite and BlockX is that they focus attention on the areas in which they can excel individually, while contributing to the collective synergy of both partners, in the near future.

High-impact cooperation

BlockX can enrich the expertise already available to the Exite Business Consultancy team with disciplines in the field of process optimisation, application integration and information management. Exite, for its part, Exite can reinforce the proposition put forward by BlockX by delivering the technical foundations. As a collective unit, new opportunities will be created for both organisations.

‘Exite and BlockX fit perfectly, and are the ideal complement for each other’s portfolio’

Robbie Mulders (CEO Exite)

‘In commercial and functional terms, BlockX delivers high-quality (consultancy) services, thereby tying in perfectly with the strategic needs of clients and the vision of Exite, with its focus on delivering impact through the smart deployment of IT. Exite and BlockX share one another’s vision on how the world is developing, including technology change, and perfectly complement one another in this vision’, explained Rick Stevens, owner and founder of BlockX. ‘We are looking forward to maximising the synergy that will emerge from this partnership, to deliver attractive combined propositions.’

BlockX to relocate to ‘Area 501’, home base of Exite.

To reinforce the definition ‘strength through unity’, the consultants at BlockX will be moving into the premises of Exite at the Hengelosestraat 501 in Enschede, once the corona guidelines from the RIVM allow.
